Symbolism In Indie Rock Culture

 After watching the indie rock, music video and reading magazines such as Q and NME i noticed a few symbol kept cropping up in relation the to the genre. This included globally known symbols such as the peace sign which is predominately used in indie rock culture as a mark of freedom and love. The well respected symbol can almost found every indie rock video and indigenous to this particular genre of music. In future i intend to incorporate some of these symbols into my magazine as a possible way to attract my target audience and to sell as a unique selling point for my product.
